iOS 10.3.3 and VoiceOver announces as checkbox and announces selected when after toggling.
JAWS 18 supports -- announces accessible name, role, and on or off state.
Starting with NVDA 2020.1 the Roll of Switch is no longer announced. The switch is treated just like it has a roll of checkbox. In previous versions NVDA indicates it as a toggle button and announced changes correct but as checked or not checked. also indicates not pressed.
