Testing strikethrough markup for screen reader support
The first case uses the _strike_ tag, the second the _s_ tag. In neither case does JAWS 17 or NVDA announce the strikethrough content directly, but just reads all text as if it were plain and indistinguishable. At best, JAWS users could navigate to a word they guessed might be different and press INS+F to hear font attributes, which then announces the use of strikethrough. But that is not enough in actual usage.
